What’s On The Weekend Gaming Agenda?

Submitted by on January 19, 2007 – 11:36 am3 Comments

12_week.jpgYet another Friday is upon us. This weekend, I’ll be playing the hell out of Portable Ops in hopes of finishing up the Single Player and getting more comfortable with the online multiplayer. That Gamespot Tournament starts at 7pm ET on Monday, so I want to be somewhat prepared.

There’s a significant release drought for the next two weeks. It’s pretty scary to think that EBGames doesn’t have anything listed for release between 1/16 and 1/29. I’ve got a pile of unplayed games and many of you are playing the WoW expansion to notice, but it’s a little scary that the Big Three can’t get more product on the shelves. I think all we’ve got is Hotel Dusk for DS, Pirates for PSP and Legend of Heroes III for the PSP.

Then again, there is always downloadable content. Xbox Live Marketplace, The Playstation Store and the Virtual Console are basically the replacements for all the $19 budget titles we used to know and love (hate).

What do you guys have planned? Any portable gaming lan parties planned?

After Oblivion sat collecting dust for a few months with only a few hours of play I downloaded the free Mehrune’s Razor add on and played it. Now I’m hooked and I will probably play as much Oblivion as possibe.
