Sacred 2, Electric Boogaloo, Interview.

Sacred 2 LogoWorthPlaying has some screens up for Sacred 2 along with a new interview with the Creative Director of the game named Hans. I wonder if he’s big, blond, and strong? Stop looking at me like that, I’m just wondering, nothing more.

Anyway, sharp-eyed readers will recall my Sacred review and its mention of a fully 3D sequel. Hans mentions that the title will stand out with its unique character development system, strong story, and he promises follow-up support with new weapons, enemies, and quests coming after the game is on the market. He notes that only the Seraphim class returns from the first game (or makes it to the first game if you consider that the sequel takes place thousands of years earlier than the first one), with other classes being replaced with new ones.

One of Sacred’s neatest features are the horses, and Hans mentions that new mounts will be available in Sacred 2, and not just horses. Also there may be more armor types for horses. Insert stale joke about buying horse armor with real money here.

So head on over and check out the interview. No release date is mentioned, so I suppose the general “early 2008″ I’ve seen elsewhere still applies.
