PSP Traxion cancelled
Back at E3, Traxion for the PSP caused a bit of a splash with its ability to read your music from the Memory Stick and create a set of rhythm and other mini-games around it. The technology was interesting, and developer Kuju had an agreement with LucasArts to have LucasArts publish it, which has now fallen through and killed the title.
I’m sad to see it disappear, even if there wouldn’t have been multiplayer. Apparently sending music to your friends is a problem for copyright holders or something. Who’d a thunk it? Anyway, this would have been a great innovative title for the PSP. With Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops exploiting the WiFi capabilities to recruit troops, what other capabilities of the PSP do you think are untapped, and what kinds of gameplay would you want to see use them?
