1Up has previewed Calling All Cars, David “God of War” Jaffe’s upcoming downloadable PS3 game. They call its execution “sublime”. Jaffe is working on the game with Incognito, formerly known as Incog, and Jaffe has been very public in his excitement over working on a relatively small game compared to the major titles (with major headaches and responsibilities) that God of War and the upcoming God of War II have been.

I’m glad to see that Calling All Cars is shaping up nicely, even if the article lays bare what seems to be a common problem with developers for the PS3 — not really knowing what the next firmware updates will bring to the console for them to exploit in their game in terms of online play and other features.
