Tiny Diggers – An iPad Construction Truck Game for Kids Age 2-5

I need to get a prescription because I’m so violently sick of reading stories about Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony winning meaningless Emmy awards. Why is this suddenly such a huge story? Thankfully, this site really hasn’t jumped all over the Emmy bandwagon. We’ve reported it, but not beaten it to death.

Someone might care but I honestly don’t give a damn when a television show wins an Emmy. 24 is my favorite series and if it never wins one, I’d be thrilled because I now realize the award is absolutely meaningless. Microsoft won an Emmy for the dashboard? Is Peter Moore sticking this thing on his mantle and if so, what would he say to house guests!?

Guest: “Is that an….Emmy?”

Moore: “Heheh, yes it is! Our Nobel Prize for inventing deceptive currency ala Microsoft Points is out getting polished. Tea?”

The furor can’t only be because Sony lied about the Emmy, because they really didn’t. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences told them they won an award for their device controller, so Sony assumed it was the SIXAXIS. It’s totally believable that Sony didn’t follow up to make sure it actually was the SIXAXIS, especially when you consider how careless they are with announcements nowadays.

Oh but hey, Nintendo won an Emmy for their D-Pad. I hope Reggie gets to keep that one….wait a minute, where the hell is Reggie? For someone who was front page gaming news every day prior to the Wii release, he sure vanished into thin air pretty quick. Maybe he’s wrapped in a straight jacket and locked in a padded room, mumbling, “innovation…innovation…innovation…”

That’s kind of like how I’ll be in a few days….Emmy Emmy…Emmy.
