Dead Rising 2 is 1 Foot Under
So, Capcom has sold over 1 million copies of Dead Rising worldwide making it their 41st game to reach this milestone and that usually means a sequel for most games with that kind of success. Why it took them this long to reach a million sold when Gears of War has already sold 2 million is anybody’s guess. Could marketing be to blame? Both games, in my opinion, are excellent and both will most likely have sequels. With that said, we won’t be surprised to see official word of a sequel in the works soon. If this word is officially written, I sure do hope they add multiplayer functionality for added shelf life. Just imagine the hours of addictive fun it will be to play the role of either a Zombie or one of the human characters utilizing a creative object as a weapon in an 8-team deathmatch battle for the most frags. Oh I can see the good times already.
