Classic wimp to kick vamp tusch in own game.
I was poking around on Gametrailers.com looking for videos of Wii games I hadn’t heard of when I hit pay dirt. I did some research and found that developer The Collective is building a game for “next generation consoles” called “Harker”. It’s a vampire game. Wait for it.
That’s right, Jonathan Harker, wussy salesman and protagonist from Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” novel from over a century ago. Yeah, I know, me and Dracula, right? Moving along, apparently this is to be a “sequel” of sorts to the original story, where Harker gets pretty pissed off at Mina’s death and starts killing off vampires. You play as Harker, which makes more sense than having to play as some gumshoe who has to investigate all the dead vampires. That wouldn’t be fun at all.
I don’t know if they were the first, but it looks like IGN reported on this on Halloween. I must have been too busy trick or treating. Yeah, that’s it.
They’re saying 2008 for this one. Look below for some video.
