Child’s Play’s One Meeeelion Dollars

Penny-Arcade’s gamer charity Child’s Play has announced that they hit the one million dollar mark for their 2006 season. This is an incredible achievement since all of the donated money, toys, games, books, markers, and Play-Doh go to a wide variety of childrens hospitals not just in the USA, but all over the world. The guys over at P-A donate lots of their own time and money to this cause each year, and those of you out there who donated as I did should be proud.
In case you don’t realize the time scales here, that was 1 million dollars donated over the course of two months. I wonder how many charities get that kind of money across an entire year?
