Cheap Packs for Overpriced Lumines Now Available

Lumines_Live_Logo.JPGStrange, I never thought I’d say the words, “Cheap” and “Lumines Live” in the same sentence.

As we mentioned last week, the discounted add-on packs for Lumines Live on Xbox Live Arcade are available for download. Overall, there really isn’t much to complain about with this pricing, except for the fact that it should’ve probably came with the Base pack to begin with.

I’m definitely going to pick this content up later today, but only because it’s $1.25 per pack. Continue inside for the breakdown of the pricing and content included.

Name: VS CPU Pack – LUMINES

So this is considered a Wed release? MS needs to get with it and get Worms, Carcassonne, etc. out there and stop with the “here’s a cheap add on” as a Wed Live release. Nintendo is killing MS with the amount of stuff it releases.

I highly recommend Heavenly Star – if you haven’t seen the video or heard the song, I uploaded it on my Gamespot profile:

I disagree Blah. This is exclusive original content compared to emulated titles on the Virtual Console. Well, kind of exclusive and original. :-D

While you might consider emulated, overpriced and unimproved Nintendo games better than Xbox Live Arcade, it really does blow the VC out of the water. I’d even take Sony’s PlaystationStore over the VC right now. At least those games are priced correctly and many are playable online with my friends and family.

Oh, by they way, what happened to Nintendo’s 3 VC games a week? Guess they gave that up already.
