Can Wii safely now that I’ve got a bigger strap on.

safer-already.pngNow I can play Wii without risking damage to my loved ones. And my family. Ha, I kid my beloved wife and daughter!

At any rate, the replacement straps arrived in the mail today. The difference in size of the strap loop (doodle-oo dah, dah doo-da!) is noticeable right away, and it’s still slippery nylon cord, able to easily work with the clip on the nunchuk, which was a concern I had. See the picture? New one’s on the remote.

A cool insert slick lists three important safety precautions. Here’s a summary.

1. WEAR THE WRIST STRAP WHEN USING THE WII REMOTE.

“…will prevent you from accidentally dropping or throwing the remote during game play…”

2. DO NOT LET GO OF THE REMOTE DURING GAME PLAY.

“…the ball is thrown by simply releasing the B Button on the remote, not by letting go of the remote…”

3. ALLOW ADEQUATE ROOM AROUND YOU DURING GAME PLAY.

“…at least three (3) feet away from the television…”

Good advice all around to a world of flailin’ idjits.
