The Sounds of Gears of War
If you own an Xbox 360 Wireless Headset and Gears of War, then chances are you haven’t been hearing those gruesome chainsaw sounds in Epic’s killer Xbox 360 game. It seems there’s been some issues with syncing the headset to the controller, the reception interference and audio sensitivity with the game.
Is this game so technologically advanced that a wireless headset can’t handle the power of the Locusts? Your guess is as good as mine. I myself have only the measly old wired version so I can’t share your pain – but even that gives me troubles. I find I’ll have to replug that headset port in after a multiplayer game starts up just to hear the other half of a million Gear’s folk trash talking to each other.
The good news is that Microsoft will repair or replace the unit, if it’s under warranty, and all you have to do is call this number!: 1-800-4-MY-XBOX.
