Silent Hill 2, Seriously
It appears like there’s going to be a Silent Hill 2 in the summer of 2007 (why god, why?). As if part-one wasn’t bad enough – it received a paltry 26% on Rotten Tomatoes, now there’s going to be a freakin’ sequel. French director Christopher Gans of Brotherhood of the Wolf and Silent Hill tells us that Roger Avary of Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and author Neil Gaiman of Mirror Mask will be hooking up to work on the script for the sequel. I sure do hope they execute this film the right way – that being watchable. Movies based on a video game performing well has become quite an oxymoron. I really can’t remember the last video game-movie that was a blockbuster. The first Mortal Kombat?
If there’s a game that you think should be a movie, say it loud, as well as the director whom you think should do the honors.
