Review: Dragon Ball Z – Ultimate Tenkaichi (PS3)

I really liked last year’s DBZ game, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit 2. It felt like the franchise had finally achieved some serious attention with a game that was both deep and fun.

PSOne Emulator DRM Officially Hacked

Submitted by on December 22, 2006 – 7:03 amOne Comment

PSP_Pirate.jpgI’ve been patiently awaiting the launch of direct-to-PSP downloads of PSOne titles. Days have turned to weeks and now, over a month after the PS3′s launch, they’re nowhere in sight.

Dark_Alex, considered the #1 PSP hacker, has now released his custom 3.02 OE-A firmware. 3.02 OE-A is the successor to the extremely popular and useful 2.71 SE firmware, which was one of the most popular custom firmware options. 3.02 OE-A seems to include all of the official 3.02 features but with one stunning addition; hacked DRM of downloaded PSOne titles.

It’s amazing to me that Sony, a company that has a historic reputation for pushing DRM security, can allow this to happen to their precious PSOne library. PSP owners everywhere will soon be downloading hacked PSOne ISO files from torrents, playing Sony’s back-catalog for free.

The popularity of this will officially debunk the reasoning for many who use the PSP’s library as an excuse to pirate UMD titles. Sony isn’t over-charging for these PSOne emulated files, many of these PSOne titles are easily worth the $5.99 is charging. How can you justify stealing these games now?

DISCLAIMER: Aeropause in no way endorses piracy. Stealing games is illegal and detrimental to the industry as a whole, increasing game prices and forcing publishers to make honest gamers jump through hoops to play the games we love.

I was just thinking, this would be legal in the case of you owning the ps1 game irl, since this would count as a backup of it.
Actually, if you had bought it in the past, wouldnt that make up for this? $6? compared to $30 bak in the day? they should be free, and be happy i gave them the $24 back then.
Although not everyone will be able to do this, you have to upgrade to this special firmware from 1.50
