		<description>It has nothing to do with the disc or the system. It&#039;s the laser design. Since the PS3 has a higher end laser it&#039;s able to read better. Just like how your PC can read CDs and DVDs that your DVD player can&#039;t. It all has to do with the laser aperture.

		<description>I think it&#039;s a bit of both - firmware and technology. I mean it&#039;s Sony. They&#039;ve had decades of practice with their own CD players, DVD players, TV&#039;s etc. They have a leg up in that department.
