New Wii Zelda a year into development.
Joystiq is reporting third-hand from GameInformer via CVG that Nintendo’s first Wii-specific Legend of Zelda title’s development is already a year on. They make a connection between this fact and the sliding release window for Phantom Hourglass.
It’s a good idea for them to keep these games coming of course, they sell like crazy and they obviously move consoles. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that they’re reading Aeropause so they know what to watch for in the debug phase. It will be interesting to see just what the graphics look like on this one.
GameInformer names their sources as “our sources”. Anyone have a subscription to GI or five minutes to spend at GameStop to peruse their rag to confirm this?
