The PlayStation Store now has MediEvil available for purchase for the PSP. I’m a bit perplexed at the logic behind putting MediEvil out for the PSP when Sony already has MediEvil resurrection (shown) on the system.

I picked up MediEvil Resurrection the other day for a steal at a local video rental place and have only spent a minute or two on the introduction of the game so far. Why someone wouldn’t want to have the UMD game and instead opt for something that needs a PS3 and 330 megs free on a Memory Stick Pro Duo is really beyond me if they’re fundamentally the same game. What do you think?

How dare you insult the decision makers at Sony! Next-gen didn’t start ’till they said it did, and look at how brilliantly it all worked out. Bringing Medievil’s PS1 version will excite the average playstation fan to a state of frenzy until they buy a PSP AND PS3. It’s brilliant you see…just because you lack “SOny Vision” doesn’t mean you should insult them!
