Do We Need a Game Night?

Submitted by James Munn on December 21, 2006 – 9:00 amComments

lan-party.jpgI’ve been kicking around the idea scheduling an Aeropause game night and want to see if any of the readers would be interested. The real question is, would you find yourself attending at all?

While I think the whole idea of a game night is a little hokey, it is nice to occasionally game with like-minded individuals instead of the general population. I’d assume we’d rotate between platforms, PC, PSP, DS, 360, depending on what everyone is interested in.

All of that depends on whether any of you are interested in the idea, as-in, getting curb-stomped repeatedly by our resident Gears-addict, Richard. Sounds tempting, I know.

  • As a fellow journalist and fan of the site, I think it would be a great idea. I'd enter! DS is really all I play online...that, and the original Starseige Tribes game for the PC.

    Good times.

Do it! I have a 360, a PC, a DS, and sadly a PSP as well. Anything on the 360 or DS would be preferred though since I have neglected games on my PC for a while.

Oh Yes do it man, I would love to chainsaw a few of our readers!
  • If you can scare up more folks for our Syphon Filter Dark Mirror online games for PSP we could actually have a full game with people we know instead of getting turned into swiss cheese by random, highly advanced strangers.

Judging by the feedback it looks like not a lot are interested. I think we need a "Game Night" banner, no?

And a word of warning. Don't bother playing Rich on GoW as he's ranked in the top 100 of oh, about half a million other players.

Well, I'm somewhat limited on the multiplayer games that I own, but any time ya'll are up for some Clubhouse Games, count me in!
  • XAQ!
YEAH! I've got just about every online console... with no online :(. BUT! I do have WiFi for my DS and PSP. Though I don't really ever touch my PSP. But some online SOCOM on the system or Twiested Metal would kick.

And Kat, I'll take you in Clubhouse games anytime... even though I have only played the multiplayer like twice.
