Wii Launch Missing Components

Grainy Baby! You can say it’s not all about the graphics, because it’s not, but this still would piss me off. Official Nintendo Wii component cables will not be available until almost a month after the system is released. EBGames is showing the cables with a ship date of 12/15, so Wii owners will have to enjoy their Wii with RGB.

It’s bad enough that many will have to play their brand new Wii on a high definition set without HD, but now you have to play it with a cheesy RBG AV cable. Grainy doesn’t begin to explain it. How upset does this make anyone buying a Wii at launch?

Yeah, playing the Wii on my HD will not look too hot through composite or s-video

At least its coming to stores. I would be mad if you could only get it online.

Meh. I’m not thrilled, but I’m not angry either.

The Wii is just an overclocked Gamecube with motion sensing controllers. I’m sorry, but I need good graphics in a game.

HD? Whazzat? Perfectly fine to me, since I have an old TV that only takes RGB cables.

RGB would be a huge boost over composite… Which I assume is the connection you mean. If the Wii came with cables that output RGB and any type of sync then I’d be jumping for joy.

Yeah, so it turns out that EB was just dicking you around.

    Sixth question.
