Gears To Get A Band-Aid

Gears of War Lead Programmer, Ray Davis, has stated that the Epic team is hard at work trying to fix a few connection bugs which have popped up for some playing Gears of War online. I am glad to see Epic already addressing issues in such a timely manner. [pay attention Ubisoft] I personally have not had many connection problems but some people are having issues getting in to rooms, having to try multiple rooms before finding one that will let them in. Ray also stated that we should expect the patch very soon, which hopefully means before the end of the year.

    Now hopefully they will address the ridiculous cheating that is going on during ranked play. Removing peoples names from the list and ensuring that there are even teams for ranked matches would be a good start.

    I’ve been experiencing this a lot, but it’s quickly remedied by hosting a game of my own. Plus, that helps me get the series of tubes achievement. So, in the long run, it hasn’t been a huge deal. Nice to see them get right on that, though.
