I admit it, I was invited to this party and even offered an option to buy a PS3, but declined. I attended the PS3 Source Event a few weeks ago and while I’m excited about the PS3’s hardware, I’ll wait until March when Heavenly Sword hits our shores. As for the party, I just couldn’t subject myself to any single corporate barrage twice in a month span.

Nevertheless, I regret passing on the party. Thankfully, Nathan from FierceGameBiz.com tossed me an e-mail regarding his photo journal of the PS3 Launch Event. He has some unique pics that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I especially like the Kaz marker pick above. Now should I crash the Wii party in NYC to make up for it?

More images inside. Thanks Nathan!

Angel's-Prize.jpg First guy in the US to own a PS3. I’d bet he’s wishing that he’d worn a longer shirt.

Lots-of-PS3s.jpgPS3’s all snuggled in their baggies waiting to find a wealthy recipient.

Kaz-and-Ludacris.jpgI wish he was rapping with Ludacris but no, he’s just making an intro with him.

Insanely jealous, I am.

  • That last picture is particularly nice as a portrait. I love candids like that!
