XBL Gamerscore Leader Is Selling His Profile

If you are an achievement whore and are willing to spend thousands of dollars to have the highest Gamerscore on XBL then today is your lucky day. Rance6, who is the current XBL Gamerscore leader, is now selling his hard drive on eBay with his profile on it. Currently the bidding is around $6,000.00 and still climbing. I have to say that this has to be the saddest thing I have ever seen in my life. The fact that someone is willing to pay this much money to have a high Gamerscore. Give the money to a charity or do something constructive with it. Even if you change the name on the account we all know that you didn

That is pretty sad considering there is nothing you can do with a high gamerscore besides to sit down and look at it and say “Wow, $6,000.00 for this…”. Well, maybe I’m exaggerating it a bit there but still, there is barely anything that can be done with the highest gamerscore or even any amount of gamerscore. I guess it’s not a bad move by Rance6 knowing there are people like this that are willing to pay that much for a certain amount of digits next to their name (or in this case, the gamertag goes along with it).

Actually, thinking about it now, is there a way to remove your credit card details from the gamertag?

Um, 5000 hours is impossible unless this guy is a fat gross gamer who spends unlimited time playing video games and nothing else. The Xbox 360 has been out less than 300 days. It came out last December. So do the math and he had to play an average of 17 hours a day every day of the year since launch of the 360. That’s if he bought it the day it came out. That beyond anything is pathetic. What’s more pathetic is that people are actually bidding. I hope the winner doesn’t actually pay. Unless this guy needs this money for his diabetic surgery.
