Wii: Potential WMD?

WMD.jpgKeith Stuart of Guardian Unlimited believes that the Wii could be the most eradicative console in over 20 years. He believes that the Wii could cause even more destruction than the launch of the Playstation which signaled the beginning of the end for Sega and effectively brought Nintendo to its knees in terms of market dominance. Even more destructive than the collapse of 1983, due to Atari unleashing a slew of games so terrible that they nearly killed the entire industry. He believes this because he thinks the Wii can be a great disruptor and defy the concept of bigger being better in the world of games. This is obviously a belief shared by Nintendo considering it is why they created the Wii in the first place. I would say the article is worth a read and you can check it out here.
