What has the 360 done for gaming?

SGRProSkuwhite.jpg Lots, according to this article at Computer & Video Games. Among the improvements it lists are increased graphics capability – no more is the distance shrouded in fog. Another aspect is how you can see people just like you, add them to your friends, and check out their acheivements – no more lying about what they’ve accomplished in their games! Acheivements also push us to finish our games and not give up when they get too hard. A couple of items on their list point to wireless controllers and how we’re saved time by not having to untangle the cords. Multiple profiles and automatic game saves prevent us from having to guard memory cards.

They also list what needs to be fixed next, and the few ways the 360 has actually made gaming worse. Go take a look!

    Personally, I would have tried to address load-time before adding any of those extra features. (Maybe they did try… man, I hate load time… )

    u wanna play games online, buy a pc wiv broadband connection. consoles will always be one step behind. but saying that, the 360 is the best console around but the sheer cost of the games is offensive and makes it not worth it even in the slightest
