SIXAXIS Not So Bad After All?

Crescente over at Kotaku spent some quality time with the PS3 during Sony’s ‘Gamers Day” event. He found the PS3 controller to be fine and after some time with it, he didn’t miss rumble at all. While I don’t care about rumble at all, I am happy to hear from someone the controller is at least capable.

This is direct contrast to other media outlet’s hands-on experience with the controller. Those multiple reports led me to speculate that the SIXAXIS might be the worst next generation controller on the market. I’ll be playing a PS3 on November 2nd during Sony’s Playstation 3 Source event in NYC, so I’ll report by my official opinion soon after.

Rumble should be standard. Like dual airbags..I mean…analog sticks.

Kotaku seem to have some scary fanboy-esque leanings towards Sony these days. I’m taking the SIXAXIS news item they did with a huge pinch of salt. No rumble? That’s going to suck a great deal.
