Rumor: EBGamestop firing employees who auction PS3s/Wiis

EBGamestop employees who pre-ordered PS3s or Wiis may face the choice to either be stuck with the console (not that stuck is a bad thing) or lose their jobs. The problem is, although serial numbers are recorded when an employee buys a system, it’s not necessary for listing them on eBay (although with the recent pre-sale conditions changed on eBay, it’s possible that eBay could start requiring them later on). I think it’s more of a scare tactic – they’re trying to keep their employees from selling systems on eBay and thus preventing EBGamestop from bad publiciity, similar to how they only allowed 2 pre-sales to be set aside for employees per store.
