PS1, PS2 games on PS3: So far, so good

Gamespot got some hands-on time with a PS3 this week and picked out two titles to test backwards compatibility. So far, so good – both worked. They tested PS2 game Gran Turismo 4 and PS1 game Battle Arena Toshinden 3. The only bad news is that while PS3 games are not region-coded, the PS3 will obey region coding from PS1 & PS2 games.
