Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Looking X-cellent

marvel_UA_360.jpgWith more than 20 playable characters, 17 different locations, 4-player online co-op or competitive gameplay and PITFALL, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is all set for it’s October 24th release. The 360 version seems to be the way to go with this one, with the PS3 version hopelessly being released without any online voice chat. That’s okay though, I’ve been using my unlimited cell phone minutes to play my PS2 online for years now. Who needs integrated voice chat!?

Come to think of it, I haven’t seen any Wii headset peripherals on the radar either. Both systems seem to be shaping up to offer an eerily half-assed online experience.

Yeah, I agree, its looking like the 360 version will be the best choice for those with multiple consoles. Thankfully its available on all platforms for those who don’t, and all of them are looking pretty good IMO.

Hey guys, love the site. A nice change from the retard rodeo.

Thanks Subnet6. I guess, if anything, we try and be the clown of the rodeo.

Well, I guess a clown is better than a retard eh?

Seriously though, the site looks nice. The quantity of posts is solid and the writing is good too. We just need to get some more comments, get a community going here. Best of luck to you and I’ll be seeing your around!

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance when it was announced seemed like a really interesting game… Something I would enjoy but viewing some of the screenshots later on, it wasn’t really visually pleasing. I don’t know if it has changed now or what (I can’t be bothered looking because I’m about to head off to bed). If it gets some positive reviews, I’ll be sure to look into purchasing the game.

And about the website, I think there are a few creases to iron out. Some things just don’t look right or work properly – ‘Remember Me?’ doesn’t work, sometimes the top advertisement doesn’t load, etc. Not huge problems but problems that I can pick out instantaneously. Oh yeah, and the comment spam I have been seeing lately. I think you’d need to disable comments for the past entries as it looks like robots are seeing the old archived entries through search engines.
