Lumines 2 Coming This November
The popular music/puzzle game by Q Entertainment and creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi is back again with Lumines 2, which is due out next month on a number of platforms including the Playstation 2, PSP and XBLA.
For those who’ve never played, the object of the game is to control squares made of four block pieces that are dropped into the playing field to form squares of the same color. The mismatched blocks pile up and the vertical, swooping line clears the blocks that you’ve successfully matched up. This is all executed along with some of the best music a video game has had the pleasure to work with.
We have just been told that the European Lumines II website will go live later this week and we will post more information on the game as it comes in.

Anyone know of any good PC knockoffs of this? I would love to give it a try on my PC at work along with my Gridwars. I don’t have a PSP, but this game looks good. I’m getting tired of magnetica and polarium makes me dizzy after about an hour.
There’s so many puzzle games online you wouldn’t know what to do with em. Particularly Shockwave games. Just do a search.

Thats exactly why I’m asking for recommendations.
I’m hoping one of the informed readers can point me in the direction of a good Lumines clone without my having to download and install 10 different games. I’ve never played Lumines so how will I even know if I find one that is similar?
I know it’s not the same, but you can play Lumines on your mobile phone if you have Java. I don’t know any other game similar to lumines for pc.
man i cant wait until this game comes out….the first one was off the chain and since in this one the the graphics are enhanced now there are videos in the graphics and new bosses..(i like the guitar guy) this game is gonna be so fun…
