In a recent article at IGN, it turns out that fanboys aren’t the only ones interested in the Wii according to an issue of Famitsu Magazine. The Magazine interviewed and surveyed Japanese developers on several topics concerning the next-gen war in Japan, and in each topic the Wii came out on top with the 360 on the bottom. Also, the developers stated that they would personally like to own the Wii more than any of the other systems out there and they sited that the PS3’s price tag was one of the major reasons Nintendo might have Sony beat this time. The IGN article can be found on the Wii channel of their site, of just click here.

When you look at Japan, they will always be interested in consoles that were made in Japan. I can tell you they will always be interested in the Nintendo because of its track record, but they don't realize that they could gain a lot by developing for the 360 as compared to the PS3. The 360 a lot easier to program, and cheaper to make games for. That, and the Ps3 is only slightly more powerful than the 360.

They need to stop posting this garbage. The Japanese developers only care about Japanese systems. They dont like Microsoft because its not Japanese. Also, Japanese gamers are into Date Sims, some Driving, RPG's, Metal Gear, and some quirky ass games where you play as a raw hamburger and the final boss is an oven. Japanese developers say the 360 is dead in Japan because they wont make games for it. They cant say Microsoft isnt making an effort, its them who isnt making an effort. The only developer who is trying to help 360 is Capcom, and they are having great success. You websites should stop asking biased Japanese developers what system will come out on top, and ask American consumers. Nobody in my school is interested in PS3. Everyone wants a 360. Im no fanboy for anybody, but I dont think the PS3 is worth the $500 model.
