Dear Nintendo, What The Heck?

zelda.jpg According to everywhere on the net the GAMECUBE version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has disappeared from various pre-order lists and retail store computers. This leads to the assumption that it has in fact been canceled for the GAMECUBE. If this is true then it isn’t hard to believe Nintendo had known they weren’t going to put it on GAMECUBE when they promised they would. If you enjoy playing Zelda in the more classic fashion then you might just be out of luck. If so direct your thanks to Nintendo.

Gotta hate vaporware. A game is announced, then suddenly dissappears, just like Duke Nukem Forever. That is too bad, but when you think about it, its smart marketing. Its going to entice more people to get a Wii.

I agree, Matt. It’s pretty lame of Nintendo to do this.

I am a huge defender of Nintendo but this is complete bullshit. Period.

I had every intention of buying the cube version.

  • James

Not surprised here. Nintendo just wants to force their fanbase to buy the Wii.

Check the update on joystiq, it looks like a false alarm, it will come to the gamecube. Happy again.

It’s dissapointing, but not entirely unexpected. :|

I’m going to gloat for having called it a few weeks ago!:

I’ve read that the gamecube version will only be available online in japan. Here in the states it’s suppose to be released in December, so it obviously wont interfere with the Wii version sales.
