I really liked last year’s DBZ game, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit 2. It felt like the franchise had finally achieved some serious attention with a game that was both deep and fun.
This year, we …
I love Halo 2
People are STILL playing that stupid Halo 2?! Pick up an Okami you Xbox nerds!
Man, this is exactly why I rarely game online anymore. It all started back in the day when I was cranking out the hours on the original diablo. I LOVED that game. I couldn’t get enough of it. Then I finally got a good internet connection (they weren’t so common back then) and I bopped on over to battle.net. I thought I was a bad ass. I thought I had good gear. EVERY other guy on there had EQ the likes of which I had never seen. No sooner than I got on battle.net I got together with a cool group of tough guys and headed for hell (or whatever levels those were) for a sweet team killing spree. As soon we got there, they teamed up on ME and wasted me. I lost all my shit in about 1 minute. I was so pissed. I spent all afternoon researching ways to get even. I learned so much about “trainers” and “loaders” and “duping”. It completely ruined the entire experience for me. Once I realized the entire online community was just a hack fest, I never played again. It still taints my online experience to this day. It saddens me to think about it. I hate those cheaters, not for cheating but for ruining something that was so good before I met them. I can never get that back.
Geez, if you think Halo 2 cheating is bad online, obviously you’ve never attempted a competitive DS game online.
I don’t even own Halo, and I write here. Am I a heretic?
Heritic? Nah.. maybe diabetic.
But I do agree about the DS game online.
*cries*
Does Richard need a hug?
Someone needs to bring this to light – thanks Richard
First off, I am not a cheater (if I was would I really blog here) but I do know some cheaters, and they seem to be stuck in the sad assumption that what they do is unique, chalanging, and a rush. news flash, it’s not, the whole point of gaming is to challange yourself. Hacking the xbox and acting like a **** will get you only a self induced rush that is but a shadow of the real thing sort of like masterba*ing. Let me clear this up, is it smart, no anyone with a little time on their hands and an internet connection can do it, does it defeat the purpose of gaming, yes, does it make you a better gamer, no, are you cooler, why yes… I guess you are, everyone is doing it, so I guess that makes you cool.
