Aeropause Camps Out (kinda)

Many across the country began waiting in line earlier today for their very own PS3 and Wii pre-order. Here in New York, it’s about 30 degrees and rainy, but that didn’t stop the….hardcore….from setting up camp outside my local Toys R’ Us. They were gracious enough to spend a few minutes with me, not that they were going anywhere for awhile.

Surprisingly, most of the people here were planning on keeping their pre-orders. The majority of them were here for the PS3, a few were pre-ordering both a PS3 and a Wii and a few were actually waiting for Extreme Elmo’s. The store had informed them that there were only 10 PS3 pre-orders to go around and an unknown number of Wii pre-orders.

They were a cheerful bunch, especially considering some had been there since 10am. I was happy to see that a chick was #1 in the line, she was waiting for both a PS3 and Wii and had arrived at 10 that morning. I also want to apologize to the guy who I insulted at the end of the video, but I couldn’t resist questioning him on the bright yellow and teal blanket he chose to camp with. You can’t really hear me question him over the wind, but whoever you are…I don’t care how cold it is, that blanket is gay and I hope you make it to morning alive. :-P

I apologize for the video quality but it was extremely dark out so I had to alter it to make it viewable.

This only further proves Playstation fanboys are not technologically advanced nor are they real game geeks. They are mostly people who like shooting things and play Madden. I miss the time when there were nerds. It’s sad people would wait outside for this thing and not the Wii. I guess people just don’t want fun games, they want blu-ray and HDMI… like they even know what those two things are.
