    50 Worst Game Names Ever

    By Kat | October 26, 2006

Head on over to Game Revolution for a three-page article on the 50 worst game names ever. From redundant titles to random nouns thrown together, they’re all doozies. I wonder if the fact that I’ve never played any of these games has anything to do with their bad titles?

This list reminded me of a SNES game called Tecmo Super RPG, but a Google search for this title returns only two results. One result is a Wikipedia article stating that Tecmo Super RPG is alleged to have been a working title for Secret of the Stars, but the article states further that this claim is apocryphal.

I could swear that I saw the Tecmo Super RPG name in an issue of Nintendo Power years ago.
    • What is really creepy about this article is the same #1 game was my all time worst game name as well. At least I didn't post my worst game name before I read the article. I sort of miss the days where all of the games out had at most two words in the name, "Cowboy", "Pitfall", "Qbert", etc. etc.
