Wii Debut Release Date – November 19, 2006

wiimote.jpgKotaku is reporting, live, from the NYC Nintendo press conference. The biggest news to report, following up from the press release on Nintendo Japan’s site, is that the debut of the newest console entry, the Wii, will be in the USA, on November 19, 2006. That’s a full 2 weeks before the more traditionally debut and Nintendo home country of Japan. It will be released at a price of $249.99.

    It’s no shock that it will be released on this date…it’s the busiest shopping day of the year. I’m not a Nin fan though, PS3 for me.
