But Red Steel? Not next gen at all.... A lot of games fit in this contest but the one that screams about being next gen the most is Gears of War I think. We used to have gratuitous bump mapping, now we have needless normal mapping, but i can't complain :) Yah I agree with Richard about Halo 3, but I agree with William Sun about Assassin’s Creed. But Red Steel? Not next gen at all….

The others all sound interesting EXCEPT for Red Steel which is nothing more than a rail based shooter/slasher and Metal Gear just because I've never gotten into that series since the NES days.
