    Which Game Screams Next Gen The Most

    All the fanboy jousting about which console produces the best visuals has me in quite a pickle. I am trying to sort out which games have the best next gen punch but I have been looking at game footage all day and my brain is turning into something resembling Ted Kennedy’s liver. So in order to decide how they rank I have decide to give our loyal readers a chance to choose which console game they think truly screams “Next Gen” If the next gen game you want to vote for is not on this list please vote with a comment. I had to choose a few of the best.

    • Everything I've seen about Mass Effect has be intrigued about the game. The others all sound interesting EXCEPT for Red Steel which is nothing more than a rail based shooter/slasher and Metal Gear just because I've never gotten into that series since the NES days.

      To Gavin, red steel is NOT a rail based shooter. You use the nunchuck thing to move around. It is a true first person shooter

    • I voted [b]Red Steel[/b], it was that or Mass Effect but in my opinion, the innovative gameplay that Red Steel holds just has me interested.

    • @George - I wanted to put Halo 3 on this list but I just don't think we have seen enough of it to make a judgement yet, although I hope your right!
    • I haven't kept up with the news on this so I could be wrong but isn't Assassin's Creed in the same situation, I thought there is little known about this game?
    • Yah I agree with Richard about Halo 3, but I agree with William Sun about Assassin's Creed. But Red Steel? Not next gen at all....

      A lot of games fit in this contest but the one that screams about being next gen the most is Gears of War I think. We used to have gratuitous bump mapping, now we have needless normal mapping, but i can't complain :)
