Top 15 Video Game Companies of 2006
Nathan Eddy of Fierce Game Biz sends us information on the Top 15 Video Game Companies of ’06 in the mobile and casual games sector.

An interesting tidbit is that one of those top-15 companies is Digital Chocolate, which is the company that Trip Hawkins, EA co-founder, started up after 3D0 failed in 2003. With the explosion of mobile and casual games as of late, I’m certainly looking forward to seeing some a steady flow of them upgraded to mainstream, next-gen status be it because of a killer story line, excellent character development or unique gameplay that the current stream of mainstream games lack.
