The Tokyo Game Show in Makuhari Messe will start on September 22nd to 24th and a whopping 573 games will be on display. Some you’ll play, like the PS3 and Wii games for the first time, and some will of course just be demos. Nintendo will also announce a launch date for the Wii on Thursday at a news conference. If there’s an Aeropause reader over there in Tokyo who’d like to cover the show, drop us a line. Here are the amount of games on display for each platform:

20 360 games
18 PlayStation 3 games
5 Nintendo Wii games
127 PC games
125 Cellphones games
100 PlayStation 2 games
52 Nintendo DS games
33 PSP games.

One more interesting tidbit is that the genre with the most games at the show will be action. Why am I not surprised? I remember not too long ago in the movie industry where it seemed like every flick was action.
