The Weekend Games People Play…

You know, I get bored of video games swiftly these days. What in my old, or young to some, age of 31 – I have the attention span of Kutaragi in a Walmart. After work this week I was addicted to FlatOut 2 multiplayer with the “Flatmobile” or schoolbus on the PC. If you haven’t had the opportunity to experience bashing the hell out of another person’s car online in a derby, then you’ve got to try it. I tell you it’s rewarding to no extent. It didn’t get rave reviews on any other platform other than the PC for some strange reason, however, but it’s a lot of fun, you have my word. Other than that I will probably be knee-deep into Star Wars Lego 2 on the 360 – even the wife likes this one. With that covered, here’s what other Aeropausian troglodytes are playing on this weekend to end all weekends of summer (in the West):

Richard: I will be playing BF2 and some COD2, War is hell and I love it!
Paul: Doing some catch up and pick up Tetris DS this weekend as well as EVE.
George: Halo 2, Call of Duty 2, and Enchanted Arms… also messing with XNA Game Studio Express.
Nick: Phoenix “this-last-case-is-taking-ages” Wright and Guitar Hero. Rock On!

I am nearly finished with Xenosaga III (which has taken MGS’s place as my favorite storyline in a game ever) and also playing Tekken 5 with the Collectors Edition controller which means I have to relearn the game again heh.

For the PlayStation 2, I’m still playing Guitar Hero which has been in my console since the release of it here in Australia. Currently trying to beat off expert mode. I would be further in but for some reason the saves become corrupted making me restart all over again… Maybe that’s why it is still in my console since I am made to try to beat the game over and over again.

For the Xbox 360, Saints Row. I’ve been going at a specific Snatch activity so I can unlock the darn pimp outfit. I believe I’m just one mission away from achieving it but I always end up either having no food left to regain health, having no ammo left for my weapons, having not enough seats to carry my gals or not enough time when I finally get over all those previous obstacles. It’s a damn pain. I want my pimp suit!
