PS3 Price Drop Only In Japan!

Our brethren over at Kotaku have spoken with Ken Kutaragi about the recent price drop for the PS3. Since the announcement the speculation about whether or not other regions will see a similar price drop has been spreading like mad. Well straight out of the horses mouth is word that Sony will not lower the price for any other market. Below is an excerpt from Kotaku

AHHHHH DAMN, I was hoping America would get a drop. I guess I am buying a 360 this year!
since they are including hdmi with the 20 gb model the valvue is raised for all regions. but man 425 includng tax and an added feature! that is a nice price drop.
