Nintendo DS MP3 Player Coming

A Nintendo brochure hanging around the Leipzig Games Convention in Germany this past month showed an upcoming MP3 player attachment for your Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance. While 2GB’s isn’t much, it’s certainly better than nothing and means you don’t have to carry around your iPod too. If there was an attachment for a cellphone you’d only have to carry one device! The MP3 player will go for about 29.99 Euros and will come out on October 8th.

* For Nintendo DS (to be inserted into slot 2) and Game Boy Advance hardware
* To store music you need SD cards. Up to 2 GB cards are supported (500 songs)
* Choose between different skins (including one with Mario)
* The interface shows all important information
* The unit itself features another headphone port
