Capcom confirmed some details today on Lost Planet for the Xbox 360, which has a scheduled release date of December 21st, 2006 in Japan (Q1 2007 in the US). Apparently, the game will retail for 7980 Yen, which is about $70 US. I don’t know if Capcom or Microsoft plans on shipping the game in a diamond crusted case, because that sounds like an extremely high price for a struggling console.

This is probably my most anticipated title coming for the 360 and I thought the E3’06 Demo was absolutely fantastic. Let’s hope that rediculous pricing structure doesn’t carry to the US, but don’t count on it.

What are other Capcoms other “High expectation” retailing for in Japan? is this in line? We all know that a direct currency conversion isn’t a good guage of native percieved cost.
