<description>Ok well lets look at it another way - what is there going on in the actual gameplay bits that&#039;s actually that processor intensive? Everyone&#039;s stationary with a little bit of animation. Time isn&#039;t a factor so none of the calculations are time critical. Nothing really moves except when there&#039;s a predetermined attack or block. I&#039;m not having a go at the style of game, I&#039;m just saying, in a turn based game it&#039;s not hard to get high quality graphics that are close to CG quality.

<description>I don&#039;t think you can say that the real gameplay looks as good as the CGI, because 95% of that was CG . What little gameplay there was was not going to be too taxing for the machine.

To me the whole video seemed like a joke about how bad turnbased RPGs are. You have the amazing lead in, a long scene with fluid, dynamic combat, the protagonist slaying enemy after enemy from all sides...and then suddenly it freezes, people line up opposite each other, and they start taking turns to hit each other. Even worse, the main guy is surrounded by literally hundreds of enemies, and yet they only attack him one at a time.
