G4′s Apology
Well It seems like the folks at G4 put some careful thought into an apology letter accompanied by a video which contains a short song dedicated to us this evening. For those who aren’t in the loop, G4 “borrowed” a clip we made earlier this week on how to kill 60k zombies in Dead Rising and used it on their show with absolutely no credit to us whatsoever. With that said, Richard has packed his bags, along with his DS, and has gone on a weekend Swedish sponge bath in the Andes to let off some steam. Therefore he’s not present but sends the following message to the AOTS people:
“I gratefully accept G4′s apology for the lack of credit, We all err and it takes guts to stand up and admit it, and by the way loved the video”
Yes, thank you for the apology. We accept and hope that future game news on AOTS is credited where it’s due, no matter what blog it is.

Ah, glad to see there’s (seemingly) no hard feelings between the home of my favorite show and my most recent bookmark.
Besides, after teasing the video for two days, they only got around to showing an edited-down, 30 second clip. Anyone who truly wanted to see and appreciate the clip in all its zombie-slashin’ goodness had to ‘YouTube it’ afterwards. In my book, you were given credit long before I even knew there was an issue.
I like how everyone jumped on the ‘G4′s sh*t’ express once more when it came time to comment on G4 Disses Aeropause, but no one comments on the positive side for this entry when things get squared away. Truly speaks to sad fact that people are 10 times more likely to bitch about something they hate, then give praise to what they enjoy.
That’s just human nature BOB.
Wow. Kudos for G4. I’m kind of amazed that they apologized. They’re right though, they live and die by the internet, as well, and this apology getting out there will go a LONG ways towards painting G4 as a not-as-evil entity. That, and it was the right thing to do.
Look at it this way, at least you got some nice press out of it. I’d never heard of this site, but it’s pretty good and I’ll be checking out more of it
