Defcon Released! Millions Die!
I believe it was Stalin who said, “The death of one man is a tragedy; the death of millions is a statistic.”
It’s entirely possible that Stalin would’ve loved DEFCON, the latest game from Introversion Software. It has been officially released, and I spent pretty much all night playing it. It is one of the funnest games I’ve played in a long time. It has the simplicity and replayability of Risk. And at $15, you can’t really go wrong. And hey, when you’re done, you can go right into playing Fallout to really increase the immersion.
DEFCON is currently available via Steam or directly from the Introversion website for a little bit more. But hey, don’t take my word for it. Go ahead and download the demo, which appears to be available all over the place. And if you like the game, you can purchase a game key and unlock the full version immediately.
