360 Getting an HDMI Cable?

Submitted by on September 5, 2006 – 8:54 am2 Comments

360hdmi.jpgAll the rumors about the 360 being capable of digital output may have now been put to rest. Our friends over at Xbox Evolved have found an interesting item up that will be going up for sale on GameStop soon.

The GameStop Universal Premium HDMI Cable will allow 360 owners to plug in their 360 to any HDMI port in order to enjoy the highest quality image available. This is nice to hear, although I have no complaints about HD through component cables, still looks absolutely marvelous. I guess this is for all of you who need to squeeze every last line of resolution out of your machine to be happy.

UPDATE – According to Joystiq, a Microsoft rep told them that this HDMI cable was yanked and will not be available for purchase.
