Violent Games: A Vehicle For Vindication

    Wow that was a lot of reading, but at least it was good reading. My mom thought I would grow up to be a deviant, I guess I proved her wrong!

    Where’s all the supposed violent youth, you ask? Why aren’t they out committing violent crimes, you say?

    The answer: we’re too busy playing video games to bother.
    I’d argue that violent video games actually reduce violence, in that we can unleash aggression in a safe environment. Long commute and road rage? Go play Burnout at the end of the work day. Stressed out? Shoot some aliens trying to take over the world. (Or BE those aliens, it’s fun too.)

    This just proves my point, it does not matter the game because once you start playing it, you do not want to put it down. Well, as long as it is a good game.
