tcsppic.jpgA group of women gamers promoted by Ubisoft called The Frag Dolls reveal on the official Ubisoft forums a release date for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Double Agent as October 19th. The Xbox 360 demo will be released beforehand (not before September 19th) and it will be multiplayer only apparently. The PC version will be both multi and single player. Good thing I have both.

Hmmm let’s see today is like umm October 4th and the game comes out on October 19th. Unfortunately Ubisoft is full of crap because the demo has yet to be released and who’s to say that Ubisoft may/may not push the release date back further and give more lame excuses like …Oh we need to make more sales of this game so pushing it from September to October will do the trick. Ubisoft is already DONE with the game. Plus, I don’t know MANY people who play Splinter Cell compared to Halo even though in my opinion, splinter cell rocks. But let’s be realistic. It’s a lame excuse to delay games. Ubisoft if you going to announce a game, make damn sure you are 100 percent sure that the game will come out on THAT day. I’m totally fed up with Ubisoft’s bull crap on delaying good games. As a matter of fact, they haven’t even fixed the glitches on Splinter Cell Chaos theory like they promised. I bet Ubisoft will do something stupid and release the demo 1 week before the actual game comes out which is pretty much their style of doing business. I hope Sony (Playstation) has better ideas.
