@ whatever:
I'm a Dynasty/Samurai Warriors fan. I've owned all of the games made for the Xbox and Xbox 360 (and look forward to getting Samurai Warriors 2 tomorrow) and enjoyed them thoroughly. Sure, they're pretty much the same game, and sure, I just mash buttons, but I have fun.I bought N3 the day it came out EXPECTING it to be the same experience as Dynasty Warriors. It got some things right, a few things better, and a lot of things worse. I mean seriously, no multiplayer? Come on!And the combo system? No. Not good at all. It's true: hit a combination X or Y to do some awesome looking moves and then get tired of them because the poor hit detection causes you to miss bad guys right in front of you, and moves that look like they'd cause huge amounts of damage barely tickle the baddies. The story? Meh, it's not epic (generic humans vs. goblins), but it was there. The voice acting for some characters was on par with the Dynasty Warriors folks, but definitely not better. The save system? All I ask for N3-2 (if it's ever made) is that they either let you do in-game saves or at least have checkpoints!Anyway, long story short, N3 was a dissapointment and I traded after having it for a week or two.

Whatever,

While I respect your opinion, N3 offers nothing but button mashing. If you are a new person to this kind of genre you might find it fun, but anyone who has played these games for an extended period of time know that N3 is a mediocre game at best. It lacks any innovation or new expierience.

Intriguing, N3 is not!

Wow, you're the reason why intriguing games fail.

You've basically said this game consists of nothing more than hitting the x button over and over. That's absolute bull. This games combo system has more depth than your 10-years-in- production "Prey." And its combo system only expands with each completed mission. Plus, your infantry works like a simplified version of "Kingdom Under Fire," which is a good thing.

Also, this games story has more depth than any other 360 game so far, and i've played them all.

I recently saw a video of untold legends for the ps3 and it had pretty sweet graphics though I cant say much about the gameplay. Maybe it can take hack n slash to the next level.
