    Make Your Own Next Gen Games!

    By Richard Windsor | August 14, 2006

    Ever had a good idea for a game but lack the motivation of one of those cheesy guys in the Westwood College ads? Well worry no longer because Microsoft is releasing XNA Game Studio Express, a seamless development environment based on Visual Studio Express and .NET that simplifies the integration and use of game content. What this means is that anyone will be able to create games for their 360.

      Xbox 360 + HD-DVD = over $900
      by Justin Pinter

      The HD-DVD add on for Xbox 360 will be released at a price of $500, according PS3news.ca.

      Recently the site reported that a Microsoft rep talked with them on the price of the HD-DVD stating, "The HD drive is expected to sell at $500... the Blu-Ray players are going for a thousand, and other HD-DVD players are going for half that, so that's going to be the price point."

      If this report is true, then people that were complaining about the price of the PS3 should start moving their arguments towards MS and their expensive new package. Also, if you were to add other accessories needed for the Xbox 360 that come included with the PS3 you will find that you will be spending even more. These items include: the 60GB hard drive, wireless adapter and online service.

      XBOX360=EXPENSIVE

      I agree with JR. XBOX360 more like halfbox 360 everything cost extra. extra for rechargable batteries, extra to play online, extra for hddvd, 10 bucks extra for an old format(dvd games), overpriced hdd (100 bucks for 20gbs), Overpriced controllers (40 bucks for a WIRED controller wtf), Overpriced wifi adapter (100 bucks damn), overpriced memory cards (64mb for 40 bucks? and I thought memory stick was expensive). 360=hidden cost
